Hello, thanks for stopping by! My name is Sanne Morgan and I am working as Nutritionist in beautiful Whangaparāoa (Stanmore Bay, Auckland) from private practice Coast Nutrition. I am grateful to live in such an amazing area and enjoy the beaches around us as often as possible with my school aged kids and pup. The crashing of the waves never gets old to me!

I have a passion for educating and empowering women to find their happy weight and optimum health through habit-based nutrition and lifestyle coaching. In my opinion too many people suffer from a diet mentality that occupies their minds and keeps them from living their lives to the fullest. My holistic approach helps people to regain a normal relationship with food so that it does not dictate their lives anymore. Having been interested in nutrition from a young age I too have experienced “diet captivity” where at times I led my diet lead my life (think cutting out food groups or following meal plans that do not fit into other, mainly social, aspects of my life). Once I experienced a sense of food freedom I realized that this non-diet approach is not only effective in reaching my goals short term, but is also sustainable in the long run and it made me a whole lot happier! Now I have young children, I also realize it sets a better example for them. Kids enjoying food without worrying about weird food rules, or being occupied by how it might affect their body size, is something that we as adults should cherish and protect.

I’ve got a degree in Human Nutrition at Massey University, a university consistently ranking in the top 3% worldwide with a well-established reputation for its academic leadership and research excellence. This gives me a strong scientific basis and knowledge about body functioning and how what we eat, drink and are exposed to, affects our physical and mental well being. Through continuous education on health and nutrition related topics my scientific knowledge is kept up to date so that you’re always given the latest relevant advice.
